Spark 2.6.3 - Memory and CPU Causing Freezing

$

We are in testing and I have Spark 2.6.3 installed on 5 machines.  After about a week, a few will become unresponsive.  Everything on the machine will run fine but if I try to look at Spark, it becomes unresponsive and I the GUI won't even display.  Looking at Task Manager either Spark or Javaw, CPU is some times around 50 and Mem Usage is around 300,000k.  To the other users, the user looks fine and online.  If you send a message to it, it looks like it goes through but it does not.

I tried creating a Spark.vmoptions but it doesn't seem to work cause no file is being created.  The only way to fix it is to kill the process and open it then everything works fine again.  Seems to be a memory leak but it doesn't seem to happen to every machine.  Is this a known problem?  Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?  Thanks!

customization of spark

I am looking to remove some menu options from spark (for example the preferences menu under the Spark menu).  Also, I got the latest version VIA SVN.  I have disabled the plugin installtion capability.  I am using fastpath on my server.  When I ant release and run the build from the startup.bat file, I am do not get the fastpath tab.  Is there a reason for this, like it is unavailable unless fully compiled?  I do have some plugins disabled, but not Fastpath.  Any help on how to edit menu options would be greatly appreciated!!

Spark clients won't keep persistent local buddy list

We use both Openfire and Spark on the latest version of spark and openfire 3.8.1. When users add people in spark to create buddy lists they are able to do that correctly, but when they close and reopen spark the list is gone. I don't know if this is a client or server issue. I am new to administering both openfire and spark. Any help in troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated.

Spark TCP ports, firewall issue

$

Hi,

Question, I''ve got two network segments, with a firewall in between, the wildfire service is running on a server on one side, and part of the users using Spark client are on the other side, which ports do I need to open to ensure traffic is possible, and still acceptable on a security level.

In my logging I can see that the client is trying to connect using a varying source port to the server on destination port 5222. But if I only open the destination port towards that server, this does not seem to be enough, however if I open TCP any towards that server, it does work, but I would like to limit this, if possible.

Clients are using secure authentication, don''t know if this makes the job harder or easier...

thanks

SSO + Auto logon + spark.properties configuration ... Please Help!

I am trying to configure for automatic logon without making the user go through the process of clicking though to the 'Use SSO Via GSSAPI' checkbox, in the 'SSO' tab of the Advanced Settings. I'm really trying to avoid making people configure their client for SSO. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

When a user logs onto the computer, the following batch file runs to create the spark.properties file with my settings. Unfortunately for them, they just get a logon prompt with the username and chat server filled in, without SSO being enabled.

spark-properties.bat
